About Friendlee Radio

Friendlee Radio is an internet radio station broadcasting from our makerspace facility. Like Makerspace Greenville, Friendlee Radio is dedicated to serving the community and providing a platform for local voices, music, and content.

The radio station shares our commitment to grassroots community engagement and creative expression. Broadcasting from the same space where makers create physical projects, Friendlee Radio creates audio content that connects and entertains our community.

Shared Mission, Shared Space

Community Building

Both Makerspace Greenville and Friendlee Radio are focused on building stronger community connections. We provide platforms for creativity, learning, and expression— whether through making or broadcasting.

Grassroots Innovation

Like our makerspace, Friendlee Radio started from humble beginnings with big ambitions. We believe in empowering people to create and share, whether they're building with tools or broadcasting with microphones.

Why Radio at a Makerspace?

Creative Synergy

Radio production is another form of making. Podcasting, audio editing, and broadcasting require the same creative problem-solving as physical making.

Shared Resources

By sharing facility space and resources, both organizations can serve the community more effectively and sustainably.

Community Hub

Together, we create a multi-faceted community space where people can create, learn, broadcast, and connect in diverse ways.
